Barbara illustrates using Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop with a Macintosh and graphics tablet. She has illustrated more than one hundred essays for the Globe and Mail, and e-mail from all across the country has demonstrated her popularity.
Barbara recently illustrated a children’s book for Scholastic Canada. Other clients have included Boomstone Animation, the Toronto Star, Penguin Books and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia.
Barbara produces giclée prints from her digital art. She also designs and writes patterns for hand knitters.
Born in London, Ontario, Barbara is a graduate of Trent University and Ontario College of Art (OCAD). She lives in Toronto with her long-suffering husband. They fondly remember their cat Buffy. |
